Tonstakers is a service that simplifies TON staking: you stake TON through the interface, the service delegates it to validator pools, monitors performance, and distributes rewards to participants proportionally to their share. In return, it issues a liquid token, tsTON, which represents your staked position and lets you use it in DeFi while the underlying TON remains staked and continues earning rewards.

What I worked on

Conducted a UX/UI audit of the product, identified key issues in the core staking experience, and prioritized improvements.

Redesigned the main user flows end-to-end (stake/unstake), including transaction status tracking, error handling, and warning states.

Built and rolled out a design system and a unified UI kit to improve consistency and speed up delivery with engineering.

Ran and validated hypotheses using analytics (funnels, drop-off, errors), A/B or before/after comparisons, and user research/surveys.

Refreshed the visual style and product messaging to make the interface lighter, more modern, and easier to understand.

Audit

The first step was to audit the existing design, which contained numerous logical inconsistencies and a high level of informational noise.

How the work was structured

After completing the audit, I moved on to improvements aimed at moving the product’s key metrics. I worked closely with the Product Manager and the developers, validating assumptions and iterating quickly. I proposed practical solutions aligned with our technical capabilities and constraints. We tested hypotheses, monitored user behavior in PostHog to identify friction points, and refined the experience based on data and feedback.

Stake Funnel Conversion

As a result of redesigning the home screen—removing visual clutter, strengthening the primary CTA, and adding informational widgets—I increased the Stake funnel conversion rate by 5.6%.

Notifications & Transaction Statuses

I introduced notifications and clear transaction status states to help users understand when their transaction was submitted and is being processed, and to give them an easy way to open detailed information for each transaction.

Design System

As part of the work, I built a design system to improve collaboration with frontend engineering and ensure a more consistent, scalable UI across the product.

Earn Page

I reworked the Earn page logic and introduced a clearer educational section explaining how tsTON can be used across DeFi products.

Account page

I redesigned the Account page to provide a clearer overview of the user’s current stake, unstaking status, and rewards, while also surfacing the amount of TON available to stake.

App redesign

The next stage was a full product redesign. I aimed to make the UI cleaner and lighter while preserving—and improving—the core functionality.

Dashboard page

The Dashboard provides a quick overview of the user’s staking position: current balance (tsTON/TON), available amount to stake, upcoming rewards, rewards performance over time, and a transaction history with hashes and amounts—so users can track their portfolio and actions at a glance.

Earn page

The Earn page lets users put tsTON to work in DeFi: it provides an allocation selector, curated protocol cards with key metrics (e.g., APY/TVL), and filters/sorting to quickly find and start higher-yield strategies beyond basic staking.

Transaction page

This screen confirms the request was processed and gives users a clear view of the transaction details.
